Larry Holmes thanks the residents of the 6th Ward for coming out to support him. Holmes won re-election with an unofficial tally of 695 to 505 votes.

Keep Larry Holmes 6th Ward Commissioner!

Four years ago, I promised if I were elected Commissioner, I'd bring intelligence, enthusiasm and professionalism to this Board. Our township has made great strides in the last four years to deliver better services to its citizens, and it is a direct result of the effort of a new board that I am part of for the last four years. All the major strides taken, new leaders at the head of the township and its most crucial departments, outdoor and planned indoor recreation at Haverford Reserve, a comprehensive road resurfacing program, badly needed capital improvements to township assets, more transparent and efficient budgeting, single stream recycling, increased grant money from our state leaders, have come about because this Board realized the old way of doing things was the wrong way of doing things. Bipartisanship, respect and action are the new hallmarks of the Board of Commissioners of Haverford Township.

I would like to keep moving this township forward, in the promising direction we've moved already. It's been my privilege to play a role in our progress so far. It would be my honor to continue our work, so I seek reelection to the Board as the Sixth Ward Commissioner.
